Baccarat is enjoyed with eight decks of cards in a dealing shoe. Cards under ten are worth their printed number and with Ten, Jack, Queen, King are zero, and A is one. Wagers are placed on the ‘bank’, the ‘player’, or on a tie (these aren’t actual people; they simply represent the 2 hands to be dealt).

- If the player holds, the bank hits on five or less. If the player hits, a guide is employed to decide if the house holds or hits.

The larger of the two hands wins. Winning bets on the bank payout nineteen to Twenty (even payout less a five percent commission. Winning bets for tie usually pays out at 8 to 1 but on occasion 9 to 1. (This is a bad wager as a tie occurs less than one in every 10 hands. Avoid betting on a tie. Baccarat Method
