Baccarat Protocols

Baccarat is played with eight decks of cards in a shoe. Cards which are valued under 10 are give a value of their printed number and on the other hand 10, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each given a value of 1. Bets are placed upon the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual gamblers; they only symbolize the 2 hands to be dealt).

2 hands of 2 cards are then played to the ‘banker’ as well as ‘player’. The score for any hand shall be the sum of the 2 cards, but the initial digit is discarded. For e.g., a hand of seven … 5 results in a value of 2 (7plus5=12; drop the ‘1′).

A third card can be given out depending on the following rules:

- If the gambler or banker has a score of 8 or 9, the two gamblers stand.

- If the gambler has 5 or lower, he/she hits. Players stand otherwise.

- If player stands, the banker hits of five or lesser. If the player hits, a chart will be used to figure if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The bigger of the two scores will be the winner. Victorious bets on the banker payout 19 to 20 (even odds minus a five % commission. Commission is kept track of and moved out when you leave the table so ensure you have dollars still before you leave). Winning bets on the player pay one to one. Winning bets for tie as a rule pays 8 to 1 and on occasion nine to 1. (This is a crazy wager as ties occur lower than one every ten hands. Stay away from betting on a tie. However odds are certainly better – 9 to 1 vs. 8 to 1)

When played correctly, baccarat offers relatively decent odds, aside from the tie wager of course.

Baccarat Tactics

As with every games, Baccarat has some established false impressions. 1 of which is close to a roulette misconception. The past is surely not an actual indicator of future happenings. Monitoring of old results on a chart is a waste of paper and an insult to the tree that gave its life for our stationary needs.

The most commonly used and probably most successful strategy is the 1-three-two-six technique. This technique is used to boost wins and controlling risk.

start by betting 1 unit. If you win, add 1 more to the 2 on the table for a total of three on the 2nd bet. If you win you will have six on the table, take away four so you have 2 on the third wager. If you win the 3rd gamble, add two to the four on the table for a sum total of 6 on the 4th wager.

If you don’t win on the first bet, you suck up a loss of 1. A win on the first bet followed up by loss on the 2nd brings about a loss of two. Wins on the 1st two with a loss on the third gives you a profit of two. And wins on the first 3 with a loss on the 4th mean you break even. Coming away with a win on all four bets leaves you with twelve, a profit of ten. This means you can lose the second bet 5 times for every successful streak of 4 bets and still break even.
