Baccarat Policies

Baccarat is played with eight decks of cards. Cards valued less than ten are said to be at face value while at the same time ten, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each applied a value of 1. Bets are placed on the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual individuals; they strictly act as the 2 hands to be given out).

Two hands of 2 cards will now be given out to the ‘banker’ and ‘player’. The score for every hand shall be the sum total of the two cards, but the 1st digit is dropped. For eg, a hand of seven as well as five results in a tally of two (7plus5=12; drop the ‘1′).

A third card might be given out depending on the following practices:

- If the gambler or banker has a value of eight or nine, then both gamblers stand.

- If the bettor has 5 or less, he hits. Players stand otherwise.

- If gambler stands, the banker hits of five or lesser. If the player hits, a chart is used to decide if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The higher of the two scores wins. Successful bets on the banker pay nineteen to twenty (even money less a 5 percent commission. Commission is kept track of and paid out when you leave the table so be sure to have $$$$$ left over before you leave). Winning bets on the player pay 1 to 1. Winning bets for tie customarily pays out at eight to one but occasionally nine to one. (This is a crazy bet as ties occur lower than one every 10 hands. be cautious of wagering on a tie. Nonetheless odds are actually better – 9 to one versus eight to one)

Played properly, baccarat presents fairly decent odds, aside from the tie wager ofcourse.

Baccarat Strategy

As with every games, Baccarat has some established misconceptions. 1 of which is similar to a misconception of roulette. The past is surely not an indicator of future happenings. Staying abreast of previous outcomes on a chart is for sure a waste of paper … a slap in the face for the tree that gave its life for our stationary needs.

The most accepted and probably most successful method is the one-three-two-six concept. This technique is deployed to maximize payouts and controlling risk.

start by wagering 1 unit. If you win, add 1 more to the 2 on the table for a total of three on the second bet. If you win you will have 6 on the table, clear away 4 so you have two on the third gamble. If you win the 3rd wager, add 2 to the four on the table for a total of 6 on the fourth bet.

If you lose on the initial wager, you suck up a loss of one. A win on the 1st bet quickly followed by loss on the second causes a loss of two. Wins on the 1st 2 with a loss on the 3rd gives you a profit of 2. And wins on the first three with a loss on the fourth mean you breakeven. Coming out on top on all four bets leaves you with 12, a profit of 10. This means you can get beaten the second bet 5 times for every successful streak of four bets and still break even.
