Baccarat Protocols
Baccarat is played with 8 decks of cards in a shoe. Cards that are valued under ten are valued at their printed value whereas ten, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each applied a value of 1. Wagers are placed on the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual individuals; they merely depict the two hands to be played).
2 hands of 2 cards will then be given out to the ‘banker’ … ‘player’. The value for every hand is the sum of the two cards, but the initial digit is discarded. For example, a hand of seven … 5 has a score of 2 (sevenplusfive=twelve; drop the ‘1′).
A third card could be given out depending on the foll. protocols:
- If the gambler or banker has a value of eight or 9, both bettors stand.
- If the gambler has five or less, he/she hits. gamblers stand otherwise.
- If gambler stands, the banker hits of five or less. If the bettor hits, a chart is used in order to determine if the banker stands or hits.
Baccarat Odds
The bigger of the 2 scores will be the winner. Victorious wagers on the banker pay out 19 to twenty (even odds minus a five percent commission. Commission is monitored and cleared out when you leave the table so make sure that you have money still before you leave). Bets on the player that end up winning pay 1 to one. Winning bets for tie normally pay out 8 to 1 but sometimes 9 to one. (This is a bad wager as ties happen lower than one every ten hands. Stay away from laying money on a tie. Baccarat Strategy
As with many games, Baccarat has some established misunderstandings. 1 of which is close to a misconception of roulette. The past is in no way an actual indicator of future outcomes. Monitoring of prior results on a chart is a waste of paper as well as an insult to the tree that gave its life for our stationary needs.
The most established and possibly most successful strategy is the 1-3-two-six method. This schema is used to maximize profits and reducing risk.
start by betting 1 unit. If you win, add 1 more to the 2 on the table for a total of three on the second bet. If you win you will have 6 on the table, remove four so you have two on the 3rd bet. If you win the third bet, add two to the 4 on the table for a value of six on the 4th gamble.
If you don’t win on the 1st bet, you take a loss of 1. A win on the 1st bet followed up by loss on the 2nd will create a loss of two. Wins on the 1st 2 with a loss on the third gives you a profit of 2. And wins on the first 3 with a loss on the fourth mean you come out even. Coming away with a win on all four bets leaves you with 12, a profit of 10. Therefore you can lose the second bet 5 times for every successful streak of four bets and still break even.
