Baccarat Regulations

Baccarat is played with 8 decks of cards. Cards which are valued less than ten are give a value of their printed value whereas 10, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each applied a value of 1. Wagers are placed on the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual people; they only act as the two hands to be played).

2 hands of two cards shall then be played to the ‘banker’ as well as ‘player’. The value for each hand is the grand total of the two cards, but the first digit is dropped. For example, a hand of seven … 5 will have a score of two (7plus5=12; drop the ‘1′).

A 3rd card might be played depending on the following standards:

- If the bettor or banker has a total score of 8 or nine, the two bettors stand.

- If the gambler has five or lower, he hits. gamblers stand otherwise.

- If bettor stands, the banker hits of five or lesser. If the player hits, a chart might be used to ascertain if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The greater of the two scores will be the winner. Victorious wagers on the banker pay nineteen to twenty (even odds less a 5% commission. Commission is monitored and moved out when you leave the table so make sure that you have funds left over before you leave). Winning bets on the player pay 1 to one. Winner bets for tie commonly pay 8 to 1 and occasionally 9 to one. (This is an awful wager as ties will happen lower than one every ten hands. Avoid putting money on a tie. Nevertheless odds are considerably better – 9 to one vs. 8 to one)

Played smartly, baccarat provides pretty good odds, apart from the tie bet obviously.

Baccarat Strategy

As with every games, Baccarat has some established misconceptions. 1 of which is very similar to a misconception of roulette. The past is not an indicator of future results. Tracking of past results on a chart is simply a total waste of paper and a slap in the face for the tree that gave its life to be used as our stationary.

The most accepted and probably most successful tactic is the one-three-two-six scheme. This tactic is used to increase profits and controlling risk.

commence by wagering one unit. If you win, add 1 more to the two on the table for a total of three on the 2nd bet. If you win you will have six on the table, take away 4 so you have two on the 3rd gamble. If you win the 3rd wager, add two to the four on the table for a value of six on the 4th gamble.

If you lose on the initial bet, you take a loss of 1. A win on the 1st bet quickly followed by loss on the 2nd will create a loss of two. Wins on the 1st two with a loss on the third gives you a profit of two. And wins on the first 3 with a loss on the fourth mean you break even. Arriving at a win on all four bets leaves you with 12, a profit of 10. This means that you can fail to win the second bet 5 times for every successful streak of four bets and still break even.
