Baccarat Codes

Baccarat chemin de fer is bet on with 8 decks of cards in a dealing shoe. Cards under 10 are valued at face value while 10, J, Q, K are zero, and Ace is one. Wagers are made on the ‘bank’, the ‘player’, or for a tie (these aren’t actual people; they just represent the 2 hands to be dealt).

Two cards are given to both the ‘house’ and ‘gambler’. The total for every hand is the sum total of the two cards, but the first digit is dropped. For instance, a hand of 5 and 6 has a score of 1 (5 plus six equals eleven; ignore the 1st ‘one’).

A 3rd card will be given out using the rules below:

- If the gambler or house gets a value of eight or 9, both players hold.

- If the player has less than 5, she hits. Players stays otherwise.

- If the player holds, the banker hits on a value less than 5. If the player takes a card, a chart is used to determine if the bank stays or hits.

Baccarat Banque Odds

The higher of the two scores wins. Winning wagers on the bank pay out nineteen to Twenty (equal cash less a 5% commission. Commission are recorded and cleared out when you leave the game so be sure to still have cash left just before you quit). Winning bets on the player pays out at 1:1. Winning wagers for a tie frequently pays out at 8 to 1 but occasionally 9 to 1. (This is a poor wager as ties occur lower than 1 in every ten hands. Be cautious of betting on a tie. However odds are substantially greater for 9 to 1 versus 8:1)

Gambled on correctly baccarat chemin de fer gives relatively decent odds, apart from the tie bet of course.

Punto Banco Method

As with all games punto banco has some established misconceptions. One of which is similar to a misunderstanding in roulette. The past is not a fore-teller of events yet to happen. Recording past outcomes at a table is a waste of paper and a snub to the tree that surrendered its life for our stationary needs.

The most established and probably the most acknowledged plan is the one-three-two-six technique. This tactic is deployed to build up earnings and minimizing risk.

Begin by wagering 1 chip. If you win, add another to the 2 on the table for a sum of three chips on the second bet. If you win you will have six on the table, pull off four so you have two on the 3rd wager. If you succeed on the third bet, put down two to the 4 on the table for a grand total of six on the fourth wager.

If you do not win on the 1st wager, you take a loss of 1. A profit on the first round followed by a hit on the second causes a hit of two. Wins on the 1st 2 with a hit on the 3rd provides you with a take of two. And wins on the 1st 3 with a defeat on the fourth means you break even. Winning at all four bets leaves you with 12, a take of 10. This means you will be able to give up the 2nd wager five instances for every favorable run of 4 rounds and still break even.
