Baccarat Protocols

Baccarat is played with eight decks of cards. Cards which are valued less than ten are give a value of face value while at the same time 10, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each equal to 1. Bets are placed upon the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual gamblers; they just depict the 2 hands to be dealt).

Two hands of 2 cards will now be dealt to the ‘banker’ … ‘player’. The value for any hand will be the sum total of the two cards, but the very first digit is dropped. For e.g., a hand of 7 and 5 will have a total score of two (7plusfive=12; drop the ‘one’).

A 3rd card might be dealt depending on the following codes:

- If the gambler or banker has a total of 8 or nine, each players stand.

- If the gambler has five or lower, he hits. gamblers stand otherwise.

- If gambler stands, the banker hits of five or lower. If the bettor hits, a chart is used to figure if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The higher of the two scores is the winner. Victorious wagers on the banker pay 19 to 20 (even money minus a 5 percent commission. Commission is kept track of and cleared out when you leave the table so be sure to have funds left before you leave). Winning bets on the player pay one to one. Winning bets for tie normally pays out at 8 to one but on occasion 9 to one. (This is an awful gamble as ties will occur lower than one every ten hands. Definitely don’t try wagering on a tie. Nonetheless odds are especially better – nine to one versus eight to 1)

When played smartly, baccarat presents pretty decent odds, aside from the tie bet ofcourse.

Baccarat Tactics

As with most games, Baccarat has some common misconceptions. 1 of which is quite similar to a roulette myth. The past is not an indicator of future outcomes. Staying abreast of previous outcomes on a chart is for sure a waste of paper and a slap in the face for the tree that gave its life to be used as our stationary.

The most established and feasibly most successful strategy is the one-3-2-6 concept. This method is employed to maximize earnings and limiting risk.

start by betting one unit. If you win, add one more to the two on the table for a total of 3 on the second bet. If you win you will have 6 on the table, subtract 4 so you have 2 on the 3rd gamble. If you win the third wager, add two to the four on the table for a sum total of 6 on the 4th wager.

If you lose on the first wager, you suck up a loss of 1. A win on the first bet followed by loss on the 2nd creates a loss of 2. Wins on the first two with a loss on the third gives you a profit of two. And wins on the first 3 with a loss on the 4th mean you breakeven. Winning at all four bets leaves you with 12, a profit of 10. Thus you can get beaten the second bet 5 times for every successful streak of four bets and still break even.
