Baccarat Chemin de Fer Regulations

Baccarat is gambled on with 8 decks of cards in a dealer’s shoe. Cards below ten are counted at their printed value while at the same time 10, J, Q, K are zero, and A is one. Bets are made on the ‘banker’, the ‘player’, or for a tie (these are not really people; they just represent the two hands to be dealt).

Two cards are given to both the ‘banker’ and ‘gambler’. The value for each hand is the total of the two cards, but the first number is dumped. For example, a hand of 5 and 6 has a value of one (5 plus six = eleven; dump the 1st ‘one’).

A third card can be given based on the rules below:

- If the player or house achieves a score of 8 or nine, both players stay.

- If the player has five or less, he hits. Players otherwise hold.

- If the gambler stands, the banker takes a card on five or less. If the gambler takes a card, a chart is used to see if the house holds or hits.

Baccarat Banque Odds

The greater of the 2 hands wins. Winning bets on the banker payout 19 to 20 (even money less a 5 percent rake. Commission are kept track of and paid off when you leave the table so make sure you have funds remaining just before you leave). Winning wagers on the gambler pay 1 to 1. Winning bets for tie usually pays eight to one but on occasion 9 to 1. (This is a poor wager as a tie occurs less than 1 in every 10 hands. Be wary of putting money on a tie. Although odds are astonishingly better for 9:1 versus 8 to 1)

Played properly baccarat banque provides fairly decent odds, aside from the tie wager of course.

Baccarat Strategy

As with all games baccarat banque has quite a few general myths. One of which is close to a false impression in roulette. The past isn’t a fore-teller of future actions. Keeping track of past results on a page of paper is a poor use of paper and a snub to the tree that gave its life for our stationary desires.

The most accepted and almost certainly the most successful plan is the one, three, two, six method. This tactic is employed to pump up earnings and limit risk.

Begin by betting one dollar. If you succeed, add 1 more to the two on the game table for a sum total of 3 dollars on the second bet. If you succeed you will hold 6 on the game table, remove four so you keep 2 on the 3rd round. Should you come away with a win on the third wager, add 2 to the 4 on the game table for a total of 6 on the 4th round.

Should you lose on the first wager, you take a hit of 1. A profit on the initial bet followed by a loss on the 2nd causes a hit of two. Success on the first 2 with a hit on the third gives you with a profit of two. And wins on the first 3 with a hit on the fourth means you experience no loss. Winning all 4 rounds leaves you with 12, a profit of 10. This means you can squander the second round 5 times for every favorable run of four wagers and still experience no loss.
