Baccarat Codes

Baccarat chemin de fer is wagered on with 8 decks of cards in a dealing shoe. Cards under 10 are counted at their printed value while Ten, Jack, Queen, King are zero, and A is one. Wagers are made on the ‘bank’, the ‘player’, or for a tie (these aren’t actual people; they simply represent the two hands to be dealt).

Two hands of two cards are then given to the ‘bank’ and ‘player’. The score for every hand is the total of the 2 cards, although the beginning digit is discarded. e.g., a hand of five and 6 has a value of 1 (five plus 6 equals eleven; drop the first ‘one’).

A third card might be given based on the following rules:

- If the player or bank achieves a total of eight or nine, both players stand.

- If the gambler has 5 or lower, he hits. Players holds otherwise.

- If the gambler stays, the bank hits on 5 or less. If the player hits, a chart is employed to figure out if the house stays or takes a card.

Baccarat Banque Odds

The larger of the two hands wins. Winning wagers on the bank payout nineteen to Twenty (even payout minus a 5% rake. The Rake is kept track of and cleared out once you depart the game so ensure you still have cash left before you quit). Winning wagers on the gambler pays one to one. Winning wagers for a tie usually pays out at 8 to 1 but sometimes 9:1. (This is a poor wager as a tie occurs lower than one in every 10 hands. Be wary of putting money on a tie. Although odds are substantially better for 9 to 1 vs. 8:1)

Bet on correctly punto banco provides fairly decent odds, aside from the tie bet of course.

Punto Banco Method

As with all games punto banco has a few established misconceptions. One of which is similar to a misconception in roulette. The past is not a harbinger of events yet to happen. Keeping score of past results at a table is a poor use of paper and a snub to the tree that surrendered its life for our stationary desires.

The most familiar and definitely the most accomplished strategy is the one-three-two-six technique. This technique is deployed to pump up profits and limit risk.

Start by betting 1 chip. If you win, add another to the two on the table for a grand total of three units on the second bet. Should you succeed you will hold 6 on the game table, subtract 4 so you are left with two on the 3rd bet. Should you win the third bet, put down 2 on the four on the game table for a grand total of 6 on the fourth round.

Should you do not win on the first bet, you take a hit of one. A win on the initial round followed by a loss on the 2nd brings about a hit of two. Wins on the 1st 2 with a loss on the 3rd gives you with a profit of 2. And wins on the 1st three with a defeat on the fourth means you break even. Winning all 4 wagers leaves you with 12, a profit of ten. This means you are able to give up the 2nd round 5 times for each favorable streak of 4 rounds and in the end, balance the books.
