Baccarat Protocols

Baccarat is played with eight decks of cards. Cards which are valued under ten are said to be at their printed value while ten, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each given a value of 1. Bets are placed on the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual players; they strictly symbolize the two hands to be given out).

2 hands of two cards are then given to the ‘banker’ … ‘player’. The total for any hand shall be the grand total of the 2 cards, but the first digit is dumped. For example, a hand of 7 as well as 5 results in a tally of two (7plusfive=twelve; drop the ‘one’).

A third card might be played depending on the foll. codes:

- If the bettor or banker has a total score of 8 or 9, both players stand.

- If the player has 5 or less, he hits. bettors stand otherwise.

- If gambler stands, the banker hits of 5 or less. If the player hits, a chart might be used to see if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The larger of the two scores is the winner. Victorious wagers on the banker pay at nineteen to 20 (even odds minus a 5% commission. Commission is monitored and cleared out when you leave the table so ensure you have money still before you leave). Bets on the player that end up winning pay 1 to 1. Winner bets for tie normally pay out eight to 1 but occasionally 9 to 1. (This is a crazy bet as ties happen lower than one every 10 hands. Avoid placing bets on a tie. Even so odds are far better – 9 to one vs. eight to 1)

When done smartly, baccarat provides fairly decent odds, aside from the tie bet obviously.

Baccarat Tactics

As with just about all games, Baccarat has some common misunderstandings. One of which is similar to a roulette myth. The past is in no way an actual indicator of future outcomes. Staying abreast of historic outcomes on a chart is undoubtedly a total waste of paper as well as an insult to the tree that gave its life for our stationary needs.

The most accepted and possibly most successful method is the one-three-two-six scheme. This process is employed to increase winnings and controlling risk.

start by betting 1 unit. If you win, add one more to the 2 on the table for a total of 3 on the second bet. If you win you will have six on the table, take away 4 so you have 2 on the third wager. If you win the 3rd bet, add two to the 4 on the table for a total of six on the fourth gamble.

If you lose on the 1st bet, you take a loss of one. A win on the first bet followed by loss on the 2nd creates a loss of 2. Wins on the 1st 2 with a loss on the 3rd gives you a profit of 2. And wins on the first three with a loss on the 4th mean you breakeven. Winning at all four bets leaves you with twelve, a profit of 10. Therefore that you can get beaten the second bet 5 times for every successful streak of four bets and still break even.
